Field Recordings are raw recordings for me: impulses that come from outside and set something resonating within me. They invite my subconscious to respond. They lead me back to an original form of expression, one that lies beyond analysis and control. The beginning of a painting might be an impulsive brushstroke, the imprint of a found object, or a leftover piece of poster wall—starting points for a painterly dialogue in which I receive and respond, observe and intervene.

In painting, I’m interested in the spontaneous and the archaic. The gesture as an immediate reaction. The process cannot be planned. It demands openness, but also the willingness to endure transitional states and to let go of one's own expectations. I try to make my perception visible in the paintings without interpreting it at the moment of creation. Reflection comes later. At the beginning is pure seeing.

Through painting, I engage with my environment and respond to the spirit of the times—not with clear messages, but with gestures, layers, and disruptions. I’m not concerned with the beautiful, but with the unmediated, the hidden, and the mysterious. With what arises when you let go of the familiar.

I understand my work as a return to an original way of perceiving. A gaze that does not have to be immediately translated into language or intellectually decoded. Field Recordings begin precisely here: in the moment of raw seeing. This visual collection is not neutral—it reflects social conditioning, personal resonance, and cultural overlaps. By selecting these signs intuitively and transforming them through painting, a kind of counter-narrative emerges. I detach from the desire for clear images and allow disruptions, fragments, and the unspoken to remain.

The painting thus becomes an open space in which meaning is not prescribed but felt. Like a sound that lingers in a room and demands an attitude rather than delivering an answer. I invite viewers to engage in this process. To (re)discover the openness with which one can encounter a painting.

Field Recordings sind für mich Rohaufnahmen: Impulse, die von außen kommen und in mir etwas zum Schwingen bringen. Sie laden mein Unterbewusstsein ein zu antworten. Sie führen mich zurück zu einem ursprünglichen Ausdruck, der jenseits von Analyse und Kontrolle liegt. Der Beginn eines Bildes kann ein impulsiver Pinselstrich sein, ein Abdruck eines Fundstücks oder ein Rest Plakatwand - Ausgangspunkte für einen malerischen Dialog, bei dem ich empfange und reagiere, beobachte und eingreife.

Mich interessiert in der Malerei das Spontane und Archaische. Die Geste als unmittelbare Reaktion. Der Prozess ist nicht planbar. Er verlangt Offenheit, aber auch das Aushalten von Zwischenzuständen und das Loslassen eigener Erwartungen. Ich versuche meine Wahrnehmung in den Bildern sichtbar zu machen, ohne sie im Moment der Entstehung zu deuten. Die Reflexion folgt später. Am Anfang steht das reine Sehen.

In meiner Malerei setze ich mich mit meiner Umwelt auseinander und antworte auf den Zeitgeist; nicht mit eindeutigen Botschaften, sondern mit Gesten, Schichten, Störungen. Es geht mir nicht um das Schöne, sondern um das Unvermittelte, das Verborgene und Geheimnisvolle. Um das, was entsteht, wenn man das Bekannte loslässt.

Ich verstehe meine Arbeit als eine Rückkehr zu einem ursprünglichen Wahrnehmen. Einem Blick, der nicht sofort in Sprache überführt oder intellektuell entschlüsselt werden muss. Die Field Recordings setzen genau hier an: im Moment des rohen Sehens. Diese visuelle Sammlung ist nicht neutral - sie spiegelt gesellschaftliche Prägungen, persönliche Resonanz und kulturelle Überlagerungen. Indem ich diese Zeichen intuitiv auswähle und malerisch transformiere, entsteht eine Art Gegenerzählung. Ich löse mich vom Wunsch nach klaren Bildern und lasse Störungen, Fragmente und Unausgesprochenes stehen.

Das Bild wird so zu einem offenen Raum, in dem Bedeutung nicht vorgegeben, sondern empfunden wird. Wie ein Klang, der im Raum stehen bleibt und eine Haltung einfordert statt eine Antwort zu liefern. Ich lade die Betrachtenden ein, sich auf diesen Prozess einzulassen. Die Offenheit (wieder) zu entdecken, mit der man einem Bild begegnen kann.

Field Recordings jsou pro mě surové záznamy: podněty, které přicházejí zvenčí a něco ve mně rozeznívají. Zvou mé podvědomí, aby odpovědělo. Vedou mě zpět k původnímu výrazu, který leží mimo analýzu a kontrolu. Začátek obrazu může být impulzivní tah štětcem, otisk nalezeného předmětu nebo zbytek plakátovací plochy – výchozí body pro malířský dialog, ve kterém přijímám a reaguji, pozoruji a zasahuji.

V malbě mě zajímá spontánnost a archaické prvky. Gesto jako okamžitá reakce. Proces nelze naplánovat. Vyžaduje otevřenost, ale také schopnost vydržet přechodné stavy a opustit vlastní očekávání. Snažím se ve svých obrazech zpřítomnit vnímání, aniž bych je v okamžiku vzniku interpretovala. Reflexe přichází až později. Na začátku stojí čisté vidění.

Ve své malbě se zabývám svým okolím a reaguji na ducha doby – ne pomocí jednoznačných sdělení, ale pomocí gest, vrstev a narušení. Nejde mi o krásu, ale o nezprostředkované, skryté a tajuplné. O to, co vzniká, když člověk pustí to, co je mu známé.

Svou práci chápu jako návrat k původnímu vnímání. Pohledu, který nemusí být okamžitě převeden do jazyka nebo intelektuálně rozluštěn. Field Recordings začínají právě zde: v momentu syrového vidění. Tato vizuální sbírka není neutrální – odráží společenské otisky, osobní rezonance a kulturní vrstvení. Intuitivním výběrem těchto znaků a jejich malířskou transformací vzniká jakýsi protipříběh. Odpoutávám se od touhy po jasných obrazech a nechávám prostor pro narušení, fragmenty a nevyslovené.

Obraz se tak stává otevřeným prostorem, ve kterém význam není předem daný, ale je spíše cítěný. Jako zvuk, který zůstává znít v prostoru a vyžaduje postoj, místo aby poskytl odpověď. Zveme diváky, aby se na tento proces naladili. Aby (znovu) objevili otevřenost, se kterou se dá k obrazu přistupovat.
