‘Family’ was created at a very emotional stage of my life. It reflects how families are made up of many smaller constellations, intimately connected yet fragile.
When one essential part shifts, the entire structure moves with it, and bonds you once took for granted can suddenly strain or break. This painting captures that tension, that movement, and the difficulty of finding your place within it.
