Gaëlle de Guardia
Originally from Normandy and based in Brussels, Gaëlle de Guardia (aka Plume) holds a Master's in Illustration and over the last 11 years, she has brought her distinct illustrative style to tattooing, known for delicate linework and emotional storytelling.
To expand her horizons, Plume turned to ceramics five years ago. Clay provides a vital outlet for pure creative freedom, away from the limitations of skin. From her home studio, she follows a self-taught process, ferrying pieces to community kilns across Brussels and embracing the unpredictable thrill of the kiln.
Passionate about poetry and science fiction, Plume invokes onirism and surrealism to reject strict realism in favor of dreamlike imagery. Her minimalist creatures and landscapes are left intentionally simple, acting as open windows to parallel universes and inviting the viewer's imagination to complete the narrative.
